Are you looking for materials and equipment to supplement your children’s education?

Are there questions you have about Home Education as an exciting alternative?

It is that time of year again when we all start planning for our next academic year. C.H.E. has invited around 30 curriculum providers and supplementary resource vendors to display their products at our annual educational materials expo. Many are travelling long distances to exhibit their products to us, so lets give them our support! Members of all faiths welcome.

Non-members R20 per family
Some suppliers will have items for sale on the spot: Please be prepared should you wish to purchase.

CHILDREN

As explained previously, CHE has 4 child-orientated events during the year: the Summer Fair, Gala, Sports Day and Prize-giving and two for the parents: - the Winter Workshops and the Curriculum Expo. We realise that home educating tends to foster families who want to be together. However, in order that you gain maximum benefit from the Expo - we encourage parents to find caregivers for their children, other than babes in arms, away from the venue.

REFRESHMENTS

The Association will provide tea and coffee during the day. Please bring your own lunch and ensure that you clean up after yourselves. There is a farm stall where you can have light lunches.

SECOND HAND BOOK SALES

We will have a dedicated table for you to sell your used resources. Mrs Collins will man this table. Please email her on mno@intekom.co.za for guidelines on the second hand book sales.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Please invite all those who have interest in or who are already involved in home education. Below you will find a printable poster for display at your church and library, community centre or extra mural halls. You will also find a printable reminder that you can cut up and hand out at your next support meeting or outing. Please be proactive in this!
