What are the latest research results on home education? What about academic performance; socialisation; conditions for success in home education; children with special learning needs? How does one home school exactly? How do I select my curriculum and resources? What kind of support does the Association of Home Schooling offer me?

What about developments on the legal front? The negotiations with authorities at national level will be discussed, as well as the developments in the provinces - new legislation will also be discussed. How does it affect me and my child? How can problems with authorities be avoided? How do I approach government officials? What is the role of the Pestalozzi Trust for the legal defense of home schooling?

Tea and coffee will be served. Children will be welcome, but parents are responsible for supervision, as well as for your child’s refreshments. Infopacks will be for sale (R40). The same programme will be offered on the 27^th November 1999 at the same time at the same venue (deposit and book by 25^th November 1999).
