The KZNHSA committee recently met and decided on Saturday October 23 for the annual conference!
 

Venue is still being sought in the Pinetown- Westville area as it seems to be reasonably central.
This year we are encouraging those coming from far to stay over for the Friday and or Saturday, as we are arranging a social braai for the Saturday evening, and a testimony picnic for Sunday brunch so you can all get to know one another better and swap stories and ideas and catch some inspiration not just from speakers but also from each other!

Three weeks later is the Awards evening and on that Saturday Leendert van Oostrum will be sharing a leadership development workshop for home educating parents  - last year's one was outstanding - it was the most significant day in 1998 for me as s a home educating parent!!!! and many others say so too. 

Costs will be kept as low as possible. In the evening each family will present certificates to their children and we'll have some entertainment opportunities for you to share with us special things from the year, and tables for displays - like an Open DAy - The ideal opportunity to affirm your children in public, and to invite potential homeschooler, friends, grand parents and families to give them a positive peek in to the world of home education.
